Hi there!

I’m Sam, and I’m a cinematographer. Originally from New Jersey, I graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from The Cooper Union. However, I soon realized a career in the sciences wasn’t for me. After buying a DSLR camera in 2017, the rest was history.

I cut my teeth in New York’s independent film scene by crewing in the camera and lighting departments. In 2024, I graduated with an M.F.A. in Cinematography from AFI Conservatory. The best decision of my life was coming to this school.

My favorite snack at craft services is cheese. My favorite thing to do for fun is sing karaoke.
